Over the years, Elmhope Community Interest Company has delivered several impactful projects that have changed lives and strengthened communities. Each initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to opportunity, empowerment, and inclusion — leaving behind a legacy of hope and progress.
Our football tournament brings young people together through sport, teamwork, and positive competition. The project promotes:
• Staying active and building healthy habits
• Social connection, teamwork, and community spirit

• Safe, inclusive spaces for young people to engage and belong
We recently hosted a “Drinks & Paint” taster session for young people, offering a relaxed creative space to unwind and express themselves. Guided by a local artist, participants many painting for the first time explored art in an accessible, supportive environment.
As part of our creative learning offer, we organised a visit to a local artist’s workshop where participants explored handmade crafts, learned new techniques, and discovered how creative skills can support wellbeing, confidence, and community pride.
Though these projects have ended, their influence continues to shape our communities. The lessons learned and the lives changed guide everything we do today as we keep building pathways to opportunity, hope, and empowerment for all.
We deliver practical workshops that help individuals understand budgeting, saving, borrowing, and everyday money management. These sessions empower people to make informed financial decisions and build financial confidence for the future.
This project introduces participants to environmental awareness, sustainability, and practical “green” skills. From understanding climate-friendly habits to exploring eco-focused career pathways, we help individuals develop knowledge that supports a greener, more responsible future.
Through outdoor activity days including treetop adventures and team challenges we encourage young people to step outside their comfort zone. The project focuses on:

We amplify local voices through outreach, listening sessions, and community-led events. By engaging residents directly, we help shape projects that reflect local needs and strengthen neighbourhood connections.
Our digital training sessions tackle digital exclusion by teaching essential computer, communication, and online navigation skills. Participants learn how to stay connected, access opportunities, and build independence in an increasingly digital world.
