In 2014, Public Health England published Everybody Active, Every Day, a framework that called on every sector to promote movement and wellbeing. Its message was simple yet powerful by embedding activity into daily life, we can improve health, reduce inequalities, and strengthen communities.
Although progress takes time, the principles remain vital:
- Building a more active society
- Empowering professionals to promote healthy living
- Designing active environments
- Encouraging wellbeing at scale
ELMHOPE’s initiatives are built on these foundations. We take national health strategies and make them local realities from wellness programs and group activities to social engagement projects that empower people to live well, together.
